There’s nothing like warm weather to inspire the “coleslaw” in us! This one is a yummy blend of cabbages, radishes, carrots and orange. And the perfect partner to zesty orange is basil.
Basil has many health benefits to it. It has calcium and Vitamin K as well as many antioxidants (particularly anthocyanins and beta carotene). It is also good for digestion and can help with inflammation if used within a healthy, balanced anti-inflammatory diet.
Use this slaw as a side, topping slices of avocado in a pita or serve it as a bed for a piece of grilled white fish for dinner tonight!
